The purpose of teacher blogs is to inform students and their families of day-to-day learning and activities throughout the school year.  We will continue to communicate learning opportunities and will provide links to online learning resources through these blogs.

Performing Arts 7 students have done a great job practicing studio routines, playing lots of movement, focus, team-building, and improv games. For the past few weeks we have been working on our first project, which was to create performances and masks that have allowed us to act out different emotions.

We are going to expand on the work we did in our first project as we head into our second project, which is a unit based around mime and body language.

Performing Arts 7 is off to an amazing start to the new school year!

Grade 7 performers have done a great job exploring the open studio, and embodying a range of characters and scenarios through the use of costumes and props.
